Pride & Prejudice
Two men move into the Bennett sister’s neighborhood and the Bennett’s are simply beside themselves. The heroine, Elizabeth, is drawn to the prideful Mr. Darcy but her prejudice may be her detriment to finding true love.
ClearPlay in Action!
Viewed with Least filters, and the most you will see are two women in corsets and a lot of low cut dresses. ClearPlay cuts the one expletive in the movie and there’s only one short and tasteful kissing scene. Pride & Prejudice is romantically intense and mostly dialogue so while it’s clean as a whistle, based on the content I would recommend this one for ages 14+.
Will you ardently love, love, love this movie?
Whether you’re a Jane Austen fan or not, Pride & Prejudice will steal your heart. If you want a beautiful extended version, I recommend the A&E mini-series starring Colin Firth. But this 2005 installment takes the good parts and puts them into 129 minutes of pure chic flic bliss! And for you Keira Knightly ne’er-sayers, leave your own prejudices at the door because she actually brightens up Elizabeth’s character. The perfect date night movie!
