O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Picture the 1930’s in the deepest of deep south, with 3 escaped convicts looking for treasure. Now picture that with some storyline aspects of Homer’s Odyssey and you’ve got yourself one kooky movie night!

With Medium filters this film gets a much needed language cleanup. Left behind is a scene with some “Sirens” who sing and seduce the three convicts. These women are fully clothed (their clothing is wet but doesn’t show any detail) and are singing seductively to the men. A conversation with a man who says he sold his soul to the devil and a scene involving the KKK might raise a few concerns for you. All of this is done with a comical air but I’d say no younger than 14 for this one.
Is You, Or Is You Ain’t, In for a Treat?...
Oh how to describe the hilarity of this film? It could be the accents, the facial expressions, the timing, the dialogue or the beautifully comical blend of every random thing. This film just brings a smile to my face! If you can appreciate the wit of a quirky film and the silliness of a…silly film then queue this one up tonight!
