Retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is looking forward to spending time with Kim, his daughter. Unfortunately, Kim gets an invitation to spend a summer in France with a friend. Soon a parent’s worst nightmare happens when Kim and her friend are abducted abroad. Bryan relies on his unique set of skills to track his daughter down.

ClearPlay in Action!

I was satisfied with medium filters for this because I didn’t want to cut out all of the nitty-gritty of the chase to find Kim. Neeson’s character will go to any lengths to save his daughter, even if he has to fill a few body bags along the way. Some of the skills he employs include various weapons, torture tactics and car chases. The girls are used as pawns and objects in a sex trafficking ring where they are often drugged so heavily they are barely awake and some scenes include them in bikinis or skimpy outfits. Mostly language and some of the violence is filtered with settings at medium. I wouldn’t recommend anyone younger than teens for this since the topic and content are geared to an older audience.

Should Bond step aside for Liam???....

The main feeling I had while watching this was…..RAGE! You don’t have to be a parent for this to put the fear in you! This movie flies by with its fast paced action full of twists and turns and you will be eagerly seeking the bad guys along with Bryan. If you are an action fan and enjoy movies like the Bourne Series, Bond movies etc. this is probably right up your alley.
