ClearPlay in Action!
Serving time for their crimes, the men on the inside must not only face the monotony of day-to-day life, but also avoid the dangers lurking around them. Corruption, suicide, murder, rape and brutality are all present in this movie, but ClearPlay does a great job cutting out the bad without taking away from the story. Most filters is a must for Shawshank to cut the filthy prison talk and remove undesirable content. Even with filters this gritty film is for adults only.
Does Shawshank have any redeeming qualities?
My first thoughts of this movie were it was about a bunch of prisoners sitting around living a lonely existence. But when you get to the end and connect all of the pieces it is a fascinating story of hope. Morgan Freeman is outstanding as Red (it was an Oscar worthy performance even though he didn’t win)! Red was a veteran of prison life but, even with a few years on his belt he hadn’t hardened so much he couldn’t see there was something special about Andy.
