Signs
When a grieving farmer and his family wake up to find strange designs worked into their corn fields it’s a sign of strange and scary things to come. Can this farmer/father keep his family safe and find his faith all in one movie?
ClearPlay in Action!
ClearPlay filters out about 15 instances of offensive language which then really makes this flick great for families with teenagers. The scare factor comes mostly from sudden glimpses of alien forms, freaky scuttling sounds and that ever great power of suggestion! One scene involving a woman in a car accident might be a bit traumatic for some. Her fatal injuries are described and you’ll see her but you won’t see any gory details.
All Signs Point To?...
My personal Shyamalan favorite!! This fantastic flick gets a nervous ‘thumbs up’ for the right amount of scare. It gets a chortle worthy high five for the humor and a tear streaked 4 stars for the wonderful message in it for us “First Type” viewers. Performances from Mel Gibson and Joaquin Pheonix fit this film up for perfection in a perfectly spooky Halloween Favorite sort of way.
