With medium filters, let’s begin with several creepy crawling spiders, one of which bites Peter Parker. Violent scenes include a wrestling match and a couple of punches between Peter and a bully at school. A man gets shot and dies showing a little blood. Once the Green Goblin enters the movie prepare for bombs, brutal fighting and kidnapping. Mary Jane bares her midriff in several scenes and wears short skirts and low cut tops. Though 11 expletives are cleared, it’s still a film meant for ages of 13+.

With there being only 5,000 versions of Spider-Man, you just have to choose which one/s you like and I do declare, I really like this one. It’s the first Spider-Man where the story comes to life, the characters have depth, and the actors put you right in the film. A fine web that has been spun here but don’t get too tangled, a new version is always somewhere in the works!
