Taken 2
After Bryan Mills tore through Paris to rescue his daughter from Albanian sex traffickers, he thought he could return to normal life. The Albanians, however, aren’t pleased that scores of their low-life sons and brothers were killed and decide to get revenge. They spring their trap when Bryan, his ex-wife, and his daughter go to Istanbul. But what the Albanians have failed to realize is that Bryan Mills has a special set of skills that make him a nightmare for people like them.
ClearPlay In Action!
There is one scene of sensuality that is trimmed, but Taken 2 is all about shootings and beatings. There are relatively few instances of language (around 15), but prepare for some jumps when the fighting starts.
Is Viewing Taken 2 to be Undertaken?…
While still a serviceable action thriller, Taken 2 is certainly lesser than its predecessor, lacking its raw ferocity and emotional appeal. We get a lot more of Bryan Mills’ ex-wife and daughter, and that’s not necessarily a good thing, especially when the movie tries to be a little humorous and it comes off flat. Still, if you are a fan of the first one, you’ll want to dive into the sequel to see the special skills of Bryan Mills. Plus, we should enjoy Liam Neeson while we can. Not sure he can do these kinds of action movies much longer!
