White Collar Besides his dashing good looks, Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is a brilliant white collar criminal and until recently was clever enough to outsmart and outrun the law. Then enters Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) an FBI agent devoted to the law with a determination to capture the most cunning criminals. Neal, who after being outplayed by Peter, seems to always have a plan to get what he wants, convinces Peter to release him from prison so he can work as an informant and help close some of the highest profile cases in New York City. Can Peter learn to trust a man who has made a living as a career criminal and is Neal too set in his ways to change? ClearPlay in Action! You could possibly call me White Collar’s #1 fan! I started watching this show per a friends recommendation which led me to watch the first 2 seasons in like a week (did I just admit I watch that much TV?). So having seen all of the seasons to date I am happy to report it is not one of those shows that wants to push all of the content limits. Yes, Neal is a criminal but probably the most lovable one there could be. He is a bit of a ladies man who has some steamy kisses, off-screen love scenes and an occasional shirtless scene. A clean show when it comes to cable standards and one I don’t hesitate to watch. A couple of things to expect during the seasons which I was not bothered by in the least since I know what the shows is based on is gun use, wine consumption (A LOT), occasional smoking and but of course crimes that are solved in a masterful way. I am comfortable with my filters set to least filtering for this delectable little weeknight treat but feel free to turn them up if you are watching with the family and just want a little more assurance. Should you free up an hour in your week to catch Neal in action?....White Collar is a crisp and clever caper drama that like any good show that doesn’t exactly have an “original” concept is carried by its captivating cast. Mozzie (Willie Garson) is Neal’s peculiar right hand man with knowledge about everything and his “off the grid” projects are always worth watching for and I love his snippy little comments. It is hard to find a show that can appeal to so many age groups but I think they did it with this one. This is a favorite in our house so tune in and see if it makes it on your “must watch list” too!
