ClearPlay in Action!
Over 60 instances of mixed profanities from swear words to gestures are in this flick but ClearPlay was up for the task and filtered them nicely. I was not offended by the violence that plays out from nearly the beginning of the movie until the very end. Mainly guns but some other weapons are in just about every scene but again it was fitting for the content of this movie. My filters were set to medium cleaning it up to my standards but if you want to cut a bit more of the violence and death shown you may want to turn the filters to most, making it suitable for ages 14 and up.
Is Red Dawn at night a sailor’s delight?...
Where can I start with how awful I thought this movie was? I don’t think there was one redeeming quality and I just kept thinking I can’t wait until this ends. There was very little character development leading me to be uninterested in the story and the outcome. I wasn’t a huge fan of the original either but it was better than this. If you are a fan of the original just stick with the classic and skip this one…even if you aren’t a fan of the original, still skip this one.
