Doctor WhoWho is Doctor Who? He is an alien adventurer who has a travel machine disguised in a telephone booth which takes him through space and time. With a pretty lady as his sidekick he finds himself in some sticky situations but he works best under pressure and arrives in the nick of time to save the day. ClearPlay in Action!Mild profanities and a scene with a couple having a flirtatious exchange were cut with my filters at medium. I wouldn’t say this is an overly violent show, at least nothing I was offended by, but when thinking of which age it would be appropriate for I realized many things could be perceived as scary for a younger audience. People are turned into robot looking mannequins that walk similar to zombies and come across a bit creepy. A plastic hand attacks a man and woman by trying to smother them, yet done in a comedic way but could go over kids head and just appear violent. I believe each episode will have different levels of action making it hard to pinpoint the age but I would stick to tweens or older. Who does Doctor Who work for…?Having only seen the pilot episode of this 2005 series I’m not sure it is my cup of tea yet. I am a HUGE lover of BBC movies and shows so this would seem right up my alley, however, my initial thought was Blah. I know there are some die-hard fans of this cult classic stemming back to the original 1963 series out there that I could really be offending right now, and if you are please leave me a comment below convincing me this show is worth continuing with! I just wanted it to be an instant love that sucked me in like my beloved Sherlock…but I promise to give this a chance before giving total judgment.
