Planes
Dusty Crophopper is a crop dusting airplane stuck fertilizing the fields in a small town. He has big aspirations of being a racer. When he barely manages to qualify for big race across the world, he seeks out the help of an old war veteran to train him. But Dusty’s fear of heights and the race’s fierce competition force him to dig deep inside to find the champion within.
ClearPlay In Action!
This is a mild PG, and besides a few minor edits for rude humor, there’s not a lot for ClearPlay to do here. This film is appropriate for the whole family.
Does Planes Fly High?…
Planes takes the concept of the movie Cars and applies it to airplanes. This is a lightweight entry with a thin, predictable plot and a decided lack of flair. There are some laughs and some fun sequences that the younger kids will enjoy much more than adults. Unlike the entries from Pixar, this one doesn’t have the sly in-jokes that will keep the adults entertained. I give it credit, however, for being family friendly, a rarity these days.
