Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2

After Flint Lockwood’s disastrous foray into a food making machine in the first film, the inhabitants of the island where he lived must leave while it is cleaned up. But when the cleanup crew disappears, Flint and his companions return to find an island teeming with a new kind of life--foodimals--being created by his malfunctioning machine. Flint must find a way to deal with his out of control invention and keep it from falling into the hands of a greedy CEO.

ClearPlay skips a few instances of rude humor and very minor language issues. It’s a great film for the whole family to enjoy.

Bottom line, if you liked the first one, you will probably like the second one. The same fun characters and zany brand of humor is here. While perhaps not as sharp as the first, the addition of the foodimals makes it more fun for younger kids who will enjoy the antics of the cute strawberry or the dangerous Tacodile (a crocodile made out of a taco). There are puns and fun aplenty, and adults may enjoy the not so subtle parody of Steve Jobs.
