Blended
Jim, a widower, and Lauren, a divorcee, have the most atrocious first date ever. They leave hating each other and return to their lonely lives. But fate pulls a few strings, and Jim, Lauren, and their children all end up on the same vacation together. Families and personalities collide in an African paradise, but they find that perhaps there is a second chance for a first impression.
ClearPlay In Action!
With ClearPlay on full, this may appear as a family friendly film, but that’s only because ClearPlay is chopping out a surprising amount of crude and sexual material. It also has to work hard in the language department, cutting out A and S words and a host (around 25) of religious exclamations. With ClearPlay, this film is appropriate for teens and up.
Will I be Able to Blend with Blended?...
This is the third time Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore have teamed up on a romantic comedy. The only time this film is watchable is when they are together on screen, and not always then. The movie veers toward slapstick and low brow humor (cut by ClearPlay) with some really jarring silly stuff in between to the point it just feels slapped together and ridiculous. If you are a die hard Sandler or Barrymore fan, you’ll want to check it out, but others would be served well to ClearPlay their earlier stuff, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.
