Edge of Tomorrow

A dangerous alien race has invaded earth and is quickly advancing across Europe. When acowardly military officer is put on the front lines of a doomed offensive, he is quickly killed, butawakens again to live the day over. And gets killed. And starts over. And repeat. As his battleskills grow, he comes to realize that his strange ability to restart the day holds the key to winningthe war.

The Edge of Tomorrow has a fair amount of swearing--about fifty instances--including religious exclamations. Some violence and disturbing images are trimmed, but nothing that will ruin the plot. Happily, there is no sex or nudity to speak of, and with filters this movie would be appropriate for teens and up.

Will Edge of Tomorrow Put me on the Edge of My Seat?...

This was one of my favorite movies of 2014. It was a lot more humorous and fun than I anticipated, and it has a fascinating story with a gripping resolution. Add to this one of the coolest alien races I’ve seen at the movies and a number a great action scenes, and you have a winner. It’s like a sci-fi Groundhog Day. Despite being highly rated by audiences and critics alike, Edge of Tomorrow was not a box office success. Help remedy the situation by trying out this film today!
