Let’s Be Cops
Roommates Ryan and Justin are going nowhere in their lives. Directionless, unrespected, and unloved, they unexpectedly find purpose when they wear cop uniforms to a party and are mistaken for real cops. The pair take impersonating an officer to the next level, mainly to please themselves, until a confrontation with a mob boss turns play time into terror. Will Justin and Ryan’s inner loser win out, or will they rise to the level of their fake uniforms?
ClearPlay In Action!
Plenty for ClearPlay to tackle here, including over forty F words accompanied by a host of other swear words. Male and female nudity are trimmed out, as well as several instances of crude and sexual dialog. For all the cuts and mutes, the movie filters quite well. Still an adult kind of movie, so leave the kids out.
Let’s Be Cops...Or Not?...
I caught this one on ClearPlay Streaming (which works great. Give it a shot). This is a ridiculous movie with a ridiculous premise and plenty of silliness to go around. Think of it as a rated R Paul Blart Mall Cop kind of movie. Even with filters on full, ClearPlay does a great job making an actual movie out of this profane and crude offering; unfortunately it’s not a very good movie. You may giggle a few times, but this one will find itself in the 5 dollar Walmart bin before long.
