Penguins of Madagascar
In this Madagascar spinoff, Skipper and his penguin crew face a new, unexpected threat: Dave! Dave, a disgruntled octopus, wants revenge against penguins and all things cute that stole his thunder at the zoo. To defeat the sinister plans of Dave--now the evil Octavius Brine--the penguins team up and clash with the North Wind, a secret organization of animal operatives tasked with protecting the world.

Penguins has a number of crude gags and terms -- typical of this type of movie -- that are cut. With filters, the movie is appropriate for the whole family.
Should I Join the Plucky Penguins?
I watched this movie with the whole family and it made everyone from nine to [age deleted] laugh more than once. If you are a fan of the Madagascar movies or any of the spinoff TV shows, you will enjoy this film. Even if you are unfamiliar with the Madagascar franchise, there is still a lot of fun to be had with this oddball group of penguins and their off the wall humor. Of special mention are the voice talents of Benedict Cumberbatch and John Malkovich, who do an excellent job bringing the movie to life.
