Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2
When we last saw Paul Blart (Kevin James), he was saving a mall from bad guys, stumbling and bumbling his way through his sincerity and good intentions to show an Ordinary Joe can make a difference. Now, six years later, he's set to receive an award in Vegas, and goes with his daughter (Raini Rodriguez) to Sin City. Blart finds the Mall Cop Convention, but also encounters disrespect, challenges with his maturing daughter, and more dastardly villains who threaten to disrupt the public peace...But not on Blart's watch!
ClearPlay In Action!
This PG-rated sequel is mostly aimed at families, though there is a little rude humor, a small amount of language, and some over-the-top violence played for laughs that is trimmed in the ClearPlayed version. Edited, the movie is fine for the whole family, and probably plays best to the youngest viewers. The characters face real peril (guns, knives and other dangerous situations) that could upset the ones who aren't laughing.
Should what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?...
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is admittedly dumb, predictable, and aimed at the lowest common denominator. That said, there is something so amiable about it's intentions that I found it hard to dislike. James brings a likability to the character, and the slapstick nature of the proceedings doesn't make for great comedy, but you might smile while the youngest viewers laugh.
