Furious 7
Dominic Toretto and his gang of professional drivers find themselves being hunted by a vicious foe who wants revenge for wrongs Dom and his gang have done. To hunt the assassin down before he can strike again, Dom and his team must embark on yet another last mission to recover a kidnapped computer hacker and get access to a device that can find anyone anywhere. Danger is always close at hand, but so are fast cars, attractive women, and macho heroes.
ClearPlay In Action!
There are about sixty instances of language to mute, including an F word and quite a few S words. Some violence will be trimmed, though the cars generally get the worst of it. There are a number of cuts is in the revealing clothing department. Furious 7 is obsessed with women’s backsides. In a couple of the scenes, the cuts won’t be missed, but in another, some chunks of dialog will go missing. Don’t worry, the plot is not complicated enough to require much understanding of the dialog. Filtered, the movie is appropriate for older teens or those who drink testosterone and motor oil.
Will Furious 7 Drive Me Crazy?...
Okay, we’re on the seventh movie of the franchise now, so I think everyone knows what they’re in for here. In the world of Fast and Furious, there isn’t a problem that can’t be solved by using fast cars. The stunts here are fun to watch but as ludicrous as they come. I don’t know what they could possibly do to be more over the top in the next installment (yep, another one’s coming). If you’re an action fan or a fan of the franchise, you won’t be disappointed. It’s silly, silly fun. But still fun. The best part of the movie was the send off they give the deceased Paul Walker at the end. It was surprisingly touching for such a masculine film. Oh! And nice to see you, Kurt Russell!
