ClearPlay In Action!
Once again, ClearPlay travels back in time to clean up this period comedy, working on some scatological humor and language. Though Part III features some serious gun-fighting threats, the ClearPlayed version is okay for most audiences. It focuses on themes of the value of friendship and loyalty.
If I rent this movie, do I have to return it by High Noon?...
Normal rental agreements apply, but this town might not be big enough for three movies. I thought Part III was somewhat conventional, but many audience members thought this riff on Westerns was on par with the original Back to the Future. Most references to time travel are put on hold as this plays more like a conventional Western comedy (though many of the jokes are anachronistic. Right, Mr. Eastwood?). Look for a cameo by ZZ Top, and lots of in-jokes for fans of the genre. All in all, a satisfying conclusion to an above-average series.
