    Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

Ethan Hunt can’t get a break. The U.S. government dissolves the Impossible Mission Force just when a new threat, the Syndicate, emerges, threatening the global balance of power. Rather than go quietly into retirement, Ethan goes rogue with the help of Ilsa Faust, a mysterious woman with ties to the Syndicate and divided loyalties. Ethan’s quest to take down the Syndicate leads him to one impossible and dangerous situation after another, but the most difficult mission of all may be deciding who to trust.

    ClearPlay In Action!

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation went fairly light on the profanity for a PG-13 offering. There were a couple of S words, about as many religious exclamations, and a handful of other swear words. There were a couple of middle fingers to be had, as well. While there was no sex or sexual situations, there is one scene where we see a woman disrobe from the back and we briefly see her wearing only panties. Most of the PG-13 rating is earned with violence, of which there is a fair amount from knives, hand-to-hand fighting, and guns. None of it was gory or bloody.

Should I Accept Another Impossible Mission?…

This installment in the Mission Impossible franchise is another winner and is so packed with stuff I almost felt like I had watched two movies worth of action sequences. Tom Cruise, now over 50, still carries himself with a superstar vitality that belies his age. And yes, that is really him hanging off that real plane that is really in the air. The story has all the trademark flash, humor, and impossible-ness of previous entries, and is helped along by sharp cinematography, fun secondary characters, and a great performance by Rebecca Ferguson playing the conflicted Isla Faust. Recommended for anyone who is a fan of Mission Impossible, Bourne, or recent Bond films.
