The Angry Birds Movie
On an island full of flightless, yet happy birds, Red (Jason Sudeikis) has a temper that makes him stick out like a sore thumb. When some mysterious, yet seemingly friendly pigs show up on the island, Red’s suspicions are aroused. So Red teams up with his anger management classmates, Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb (Danny McBride), to discover what the pigs are really up to.
ClearPlay In Action!
Even though this is a kids movie, the filmmakers decided to push some boundaries with euphemisms. ?There is also a scene where a character urinates for an extended amount of time for comedic effect. Plus, as the title suggests, there is plenty of fighting, cartoony violence and explosions, though none of it graphic.
So Will Angry Birds Make You See Red?
The Angry Birds Movie is too little, too late. It’s another mediocre video game adaptation and it came way after the Angry Birds app craze was at its peak. Plus, I think they were trying to appeal to adults with some of the humor, but it just comes off as juvenile. Trust me, playing the game is more fun than watching the movie.
