Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!
Rosalee Futch (Kate Bosworth) is a grocery store cashier from small town West Virginia with a crush on the dreamy Tad Hamilton (Josh Duhamel), one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. When a contest to win a date with Tad is announced she eagerly enters for a chance to win…and she does! What was meant to be one night out with Tad turns into more but Tad isn’t the only one that has eyes for Rosalee, one of her best friends from childhood does too.
ClearPlay in Action!
ClearPlay does its best to tidy this up from its original version but a few things to be mindful of especially since it is geared toward the tween or teenage audience. A couple of scenes involving excess skin (ie: a man with no shirt and a female in a bikini), alcohol consumption, moral values being tested and a couple brief references to sexual behavior are seen with all filters set to most. Motherly Advice: Even with a lot of the objectionable content filtered I would recommend ages 13+.
Is Tad really worth all the fuss or are looks deceiving?...
If you are not a thirteen year old girl then I say PICK another movie. I’m pretty open about having my guilty pleasure movies that are quite brainless and sometimes a little lame and I’m not ashamed of it. But….this isn’t one of them. Sure it is kind of cutesy and falls in line with a lot of other teen movies but it just didn’t have enough humor or cheesy romance to win me over. I would suggest something like Sweet Home Alabama instead. Don’t waste this one on the men in your life because they won’t let you pick a movie for a long time!
