Good Will Hunting
Will works as a janitor at MIT but behind that mop he’s a mathematical genius. His troubled past leads him to a psychologist for help and a chance at a brighter future.
ClearPlay in Action!
Choppy scenes can’t be avoided with all of the cursing, the F-bomb alone gets dropped 154 times. “Most Filtering” is the only way to go. Will is shown shirtless and implies a sexual encounter, but no other nudity. They aren’t shy with their drinking and smoking. A few punches are thrown in a “street” fight but it ends quickly. I am inclined to say “Adults Only”, but use your discretion.
Good or should you keep hunting?…
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote and starred in this film which was a huge launch for their careers. Will was an intriguing character with his mad skills for math but lacks confidence due to his troubled upbringing. Besides Damon and Affleck, Robin Williams was great (I like him in serious roles). I find myself needing to be in the mood for slower paced movies, which this is, so keep that in mind, but still a good movie.
