Braveheart
To fight for one’s freedom is a noble thing and William Wallace is just the man to lead the Scottish commoners into war against the tyranny of the ruthless King Longshanks.
ClearPlay in Action!
Viewed with the most filters and the list of uglies is long. Two kissing scenes clearly leading to sex and one attempted rape scene. In the first few minutes we see several people hung by nooses. As for violence, several scenes show people being killed by swords, fists, rocks, ball and chains, etc., you see the weapon of choice and then ClearPlay filters the actual incident. Lastly, there’s a torture scene near the end that is very disturbing. ClearPlay filters 17 expletives so your ears won’t burn! Even with filters, Braveheart is a film meant for ages 18+.
Will you brave the fight that Braveheart serves up?
Although it’s over 15 years old, this is the first time I’ve seen Braveheart and the verdict is in, if you watch with MOST filters it’s actually quite wonderful! The filters help balance the battle to drama ratio. The battles are realistic without overdoing the gore and the drama keeps you watching until the heart-wrenching finale.
